Amy Strobel-Tully, CVT, is the proud owner of Snaggle Foot Minneapolis and a true animal lover.
As a small child, she knew she wanted to work with animals as a career and had dreams of working as a zookeeper or animal trainer. She had her first experience in the animal services field during a summer internship at a small zoo in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, where she took care of several animals including cougar cubs, prairie dogs, and whitetail deer fawns.
After graduating from the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point with a Bachelor of Science degree, Amy began working for a brokerage firm where she eventually became the branch manager’s assistant. But after seven years, her love for animals convinced her to leave the corporate world and head back to school, and in 2007 she earned her Associates of Applied Science Degree in Veterinary Technology from Argosy University.
While still in school she began working part-time at a local Minneapolis pet clinic as a Veterinary Assistant, where she was hired full time as a Veterinary Technician immediately after passing her national and state exams. Amy continues to work part-time at the vet clinic and takes continuing education seminars and workshops to keep her knowledge and skills up to date.
Amy’s desire to own her own business, combined with her veterinary training, business acumen, and joy of working with animals naturally led to her to open Snaggle Foot Dog Walks & Pet Care in Minneapolis. Amy’s professional knowledge of animal wellness serves her clients with superior care–the same she provides to her own animals.
Amy is married to Mike Tully, who is Vice President of Engineering for an electronics company in Burnsville. Together they have two beautiful children who are following in mom’s footsteps with their own love and enthusiasm for animals. The Tully’s share their home with Harper, a sweet little Jack Russell Terrier they’ve had since she was a puppy, and Linden, a bouncy, lovable Coonhound that Amy’s family rescued when he was eight months old.
